Full-scale test !

On 9 and 10 June, at the GSM sites (Achères and Carrières-sous-Poissy), the teaching materials were tested with all the staff available on site, including the administrative and supervisory staff of the sector. During thematic days "Environment / Energy", 4 animations of about 1h00 were carried out on the quarries of Achères and Carrières-sous-Poissy. All the available staff (in total more than 40 people) attended the 2 awareness-raising workshops including the one on climate change with the...

Employees' words

During the co-construction sessions of the educational kit, employees and subcontractors took an important part in the different phases of the work: imagination and improvement of designs, tests of games... Willy G. (dredging driver) tells us : "I was approached by Virginie C. of GSM" to participate "in several meetings on a contest that talks about the career of Achères" in order to create "games set up to talk about biodiversity, nature, fauna and flora". He explains: "I found it rewarding,...

Second design meeting with staff held on May 04, 2022.

Following the momentum of the first meeting, a second brainstorming took place with the other employees of the site and subcontractors (12 people in total). Some present at the first meeting acted as presenters of the project. The last games of the teaching kit have been combed through. Thanks to their constructive look, a new game was even born during this meeting! All we have to do is realize it, the employees will be the first testers! LPO Normandy

First meeting with the staff!

The project is off to a good start. The first meeting for the creation of educational materials on the relationship between careers and climate change took place in Achères (Paris, France) on March 24, 2022 in the presence of the site's employees but also a subcontractor who helped to make good progress. Their vision of the impact of their work on the environment is essential for the realization of the supports. How to reduce energy consumption and limit droughts and floods are examples of...
