Right in the middle of the study trip, the cold season made us a white present. The snow did not mess with our plans, on the contrary, helped us to observe the fauna from this area more accurately, as fresh animal tracks began to appear on the way, outside and inside the quarry. Therefore, we had the pleasure to find fresh wolf tracks, probably few minutes in front of us. Investigating one of the caves in the area we found that is inhabited by Strix aluco, as it was full of old and fresh pellets, and outside the cave the bird was watching us. Furthermore, we advanced in the quarry and the fresh snow helped us identify numerous species which trespass the quarry: Canis lupus, Vulpes vulpes, Capreolus capreolus, Sus scrofa, Sciurus vulgaris, Meles meles.
