The following trees have been planted at Jokate Mwagelo Girls Secondary School for School Fruit Garden
1. Averrhoa bilimbi
Averrhoa bilimbi is a small tropical tree native to Malaysia and Indonesia, reaching up to 15m in height. It is often multitrunked, quickly dividing into ramifications. 2. Artocarpus heterophyllus
The jackfruit, also known as jack tree, is a species of tree in the fig, mulberry, and breadfruit family. 3. Annona muricata (Stafeli)
Annona muricata is a species of the genus Annona of the custard apple tree family, Annonaceae, which has edible fruit. The fruit is usually called soursop due to its slightly acidic taste when ripe. 4. Citrus limon (Mlimao)
